This is a working draft, not legal advice. It describes how iapplyai.app actually behaves today and is under review by counsel. Where a term has not been decided, this page says so rather than guessing. If anything here conflicts with what the product does, the product is the thing to trust and we want to hear about it.

iapplyai.app reads your resume so it can score real job postings against it and write application materials from it. That is the whole purpose, and it is the only reason any of the information below is collected.

What iapplyai.app holds

Your resume, and the structured version of it iapplyai.app builds: your roles, employers, dates, bullet points, skills, education and credentials. Your profile, which includes your name, contact details, location, target roles and pay expectations. The answers you save for application questions, so you do not retype them. The jobs you search for, save, dismiss and apply to, and the resumes and cover letters iapplyai.app writes for each one. Your account email, and the record of what you bought.

Who else sees it, and what they get

Anthropic receives your resume content and a job description when iapplyai.app scores a match or writes a document. This is the step that does the actual work. Supabase stores everything above. Stripe handles payment; iapplyai.app never receives or stores your card number. Vercel hosts the site. Resend sends email iapplyai.app sends you. PostHog and Vercel Analytics record how the product is used. The job search index iapplyai.app queries receives your search terms, not your resume.

Your resume is never sold, and it is never sent to an employer by iapplyai.app. When you apply, you are the one who submits it.

The browser extension

The iapplyai.app extension reads the page you are on only when you open its panel on that page, and only to find the application form and the job it belongs to. It does not run in the background, it does not read pages you have not opened it on, and it does not press Submit. Every value it offers comes from answers already in your iapplyai.app account.

Deleting your account

Deleting your account is immediate and cannot be undone. There is no recovery window and no archived copy: your profile, resumes, applications, saved jobs, stories and answers are removed at the same time. If you have an active pass, billing is cancelled first, so nothing continues to charge you after the account is gone. Time remaining on a pass is forfeited and is not refunded, which the app tells you before you confirm.

Records of payments already made are kept de linked from you, because a business has to be able to account for money it received.

Open points

Not yet decided. How long data is kept for an account that is abandoned rather than deleted. iapplyai.app currently keeps it until you delete the account.

Not yet decided. The specific rights that apply to you and how to exercise them, which depends on where you live. To ask anything about your data today, email the address on the site and it reaches a person.
